Godfrey Fletcher has been the Chief Executive Officer at the Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland since 2009. He has a master’s degree in Business Administration, an honours degree in Natural Sciences, as well as a qualification as a European Certified Data Protection Officer. Godfrey plays an active role in the development of registries, both in Ireland and internationally. His international business experience, as well as management experience for not-for-profit patient and research organisations brings a unique perspective to the development of patient registries.
Laura Kirwan is the Head of Research at the Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland. She holds a PhD in Statistics and worked as the CFRI Research Statistician for four years before commencing her role as Head of Research in September 2020. She has had a varied career as a statistician, holding roles in environmental science, health and nutrition, before moving to the CFRI in 2016. Laura also lectures in Statistical Programming and Research Methods in UCD.
Robyn Doherty is the Head of Operations at the Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland. She holds a PhD in Management Science from Strathclyde Business school and wrote her thesis on programme evaluation practices in small non-profit organisations. Prior to joining the registry, she held posts at the Mental Health Foundation and the University of Strathclyde. She has worked in a variety of roles across academia and the not-profit sector in research, knowledge exchange, teaching and project administration capacities. Most recently, she has worked and led on research projects relating to public mental health, systems change, and global health systems governance.
Paul O’Regan is a data analyst with the Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland. He has a bachelor’s (Bsc) degree in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science from the University College Cork. Prior to joining the registry, Paul worked in Limerick as a data analyst in the pharmaceutical industry.
Soumya Joshy is a Clinical Research Associate with the Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and also has a Master’s degree in Public Health from University College Dublin. She worked as a Quality Data Validation Coordinator at Mater Private Network Cork, before joining CFRI.
